Integration between views

The various views on the program structure are very useful, but they would be confusing if it were not for the fact the ability to relate them to each other. The user can select from the function window and call up the associated code window, or find the declaration in the variable window, or the user can select from the code window and find the appropriate item in the function window or variable window (see Figure 5.1). These allow the user to relate individual components in each view to the corresponding components in other views, thus providing an integrated whole rather than several disjointed views.
