As the basis of this project, a resistive fuse network is considered, and the fuse circuits are investigated with a view to improving network performance. The first section of this project will implement a resistive fuse network with good performance. This chapter describes various resistive fuse circuits that were investigated for possible use in the network.
The basic resistive fuses considered for this project, are described in Yu et al. [18]. In this paper, they present a practical resistive fuse circuit that has been built and tested with a variety of images. The circuit they actually used was the eleven transistor resistive fuse, but they describe other circuits because they are useful for describing the operation of the eleven transistor resistive fuse, as well as being useful circuits in their own right.
