The basis of the design was the eleven transistor resistive fuse, see
Figure 4.7. There are
three actions that need to be carried out in order to achieve the goals
outlined above:
- The resistive fuse needs to signal what gradient it sees.
- This signal has to be transmitted to adjacent resistive fuses.
- The transmitted signal has to modify the behaviour of the adjacent
resistive fuses.
